As promised here is my list of things to do in MN during 2009. At 72 items I’m not sure I’ll be able to do them all, but I’m going to try my best. I hope to write about most of these experiences here. Any other suggestions are welcome and if not added to this list will probably carry over to 2010.

That is thorough! Good luck, and hopefully I’ll be using this list as an inspiration to try some of these things myself.
I’ve lived here almost 32 years and I’ve only done 36 of those things. Good luck. Maybe I’ll try and do the rest on your list, but I have no interest in the Timberwolves or Lynx, so maybe not.
What about a Twins game? I’d say that’s conspicuously absent. Try to make it to a Twins/White Sox game if you can, those are the best.
Great list! The uptown Campiello (that you link to) is closed, though I think there’s one in eden prarie?
@Emily – Thanks, hour MN day definitely help inspire this list.
@Kassie – I’m a huge basketball fan so I want to get to a couple of games. It’s not hard to find 2 other things to replace those items though.
@Art – I’ve already been to several Twins games so I didn’t put that on my list. Though a White Sox game would be awesome. I’m a huge fan so I try to make it to a few games every year.
@Sarah – Thanks for the info. I’ll try and get that link fixed.
That is quite a list. I think I’ll print it out for my own use.
Have you already been to see the rollergirls? What about The Vixen (our women’s football team)? What are the limitations to the list? Personally, I think the Viking Brewery tour in Dallas, WI, is better than Summit or New Ulm, and it’s within striking distance of the cities. If you like to bike (and I see the Greenway), I suggest a list of bicycling opportunities – Cannon Falls, Paul Bunyan, down south where there’s pie, Sunrise Trail, etc. The Franconia Sculpture Park. If you want to get really strange, there are dozens of local groups to hang with for a day – you can go geocaching with someone (doubles as a visit to a park if you plan it right), run with the Hash House Harriers (a wild bunch who I bumped into at the aforementioned Dallas, WI, brewery tour), etc.
[...] at his blog, Connor lists 72 items he’d like to do in Minnesota before 2010. I’m here for at least the next four years, [...]
PingbackScooter – The only limits to the list were things I knew about and time and money. I wanted to put out a list I thought I could accomplish by 12/31/2009. I also wanted to keep it MN focused which is why geocaching really doesn’t fit with what I was going for.
I love the ideas though, I had no idea we had a woman’s football team. Thanks for the info on Paul Bunyan. I biked Cannon Falls this summer and loved it and plan on taking in more of the rail to trail system in the state.
This list is for 2009 and there are way too many things to do in one year, maybe I should start a wiki based on this idea so I can have an even better todo list in 2010.
Awesome list! ‘Definitely going to try some of these as well…
Have you been to Paul Bunyan Land in Brainerd? Classic MN.

I haven’t made it to Paul Bunyan Land, though I believe I drove by once. I’m currently developing a master MN todo list. There are so many more things to do than what I have here.
GREAT list! I’ve got a mental checklist of my own going, but and this has provided some additional inspiration! You better update us as you check things off!
